Classic Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. grated lemon zest
1 c. salted butter, chilled
6 to 8 Tbsp. ice water
Preparation

Mix flour and lemon zest eogether with whisk in a medium bowl.
With pastry cutter or 2 knives, cut in butter until dough resembles coarse meal.
Add ice water, 1 tablespoon at a time, and blend until dough can be gathered into a ball.
Divide dough in half, flatten into disks, and wrap tightly in plastic wrap. Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm.
