French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 beaten eggs
    3/4 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    ground cinnamon (optional)
    10 slices dry white bread
    butter
    maple flavored syrup
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    In a shallow bowl, beat together eggs, milk, sugar and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
    Dip bread in egg mixture, coating both sides. In a skillet or on a grill, cook bread on both sides in a small amount of hot butter over medium-high heat until golden brown.
    Add more butter when needed.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon and powdered sugar.
    Serve with maple flavored syrup.
    Serves 5.
