Cheese Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 c. yellow squash, chunked
    1/4 to 1/2 c. diced onions
    1/2 pkg. (8 oz.) Velveeta cheese, cut in chunks
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Cut up squash in chunks.
    Place in a 2-quart saucepan.
    Add onions.
    Add water to cover.
    Place over medium heat, approximately 10 to 20 minutes.
    Cook until tender.
    Remove from heat.
    Drain water off.
    Add cheese, salt and pepper to taste. Mix until cheese is blended.
    Squash cooks down.
