Nana'S Cheese Straws - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 c. flour (measured before sifting)
    3 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. ice water
    salt and red pepper (amount determined by own preference)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients; roll small portions at a time into small balls.
    Press out on a floured board and roll out with a rolling pin.
    Cut into strips that are 1/4-inch wide.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for approximately 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cool on wax paper.
