Hamburger Kidney Bean Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. lean hamburger
1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
2 tsp. chili powder
1 c. chopped onion
3 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
1 tsp. salt
pepper
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped
Preparation

Press raw hamburger in
the
bottom of a 3 quart casserole; sprinkle with salt
and pepper.
Layer the can of kidney beans with juice next
and
sprinkle
with
chili powder.
Add chopped onion in a
layer.
Layer the top with sliced potatoes with salt, pepper and
sugar
over
the
top.
Pour
undrained chopped tomatoes over the
top.
Bake,
covered,
in 400\u00b0 oven for 1 hour. Remove lid
and bake another 20 minutes to remove excess liquid.
