Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. dark brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation

Cream together in a large bowl granulated sugar, brown sugar and margarine.
Add egg and vanilla and beat until light and fluffy.
Combine, in a second bowl, flour, salt and baking soda. Add dry ingredients gradually to the creamed mixture, mixing with a wooden spoon.
Stir in chocolate chips, using a wooden spoon.
