Buttery Cinnamon Skillet Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 cup margarine
    1/2-3/4 cup sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 1/2 cup water
    1/4-1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    4 med. apples (cored, unpeeled and cut in half)
Preparation
    In heavy skillet, melt butter over medium heat (3 to 4 minutes).
    Stir in sugar and cornstarch.
    Mix well.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Cover and cook spooning sauce over apples occasionally, until they are fork tender and sauce is thickened (12 to 15 minutes).
