Clam Chowder #2 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon, chopped
    3 (6 1/2 oz.) cans minced clams
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2/3 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 green onions with tops, chopped
    3 c. chopped potatoes
    3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    2 c. milk
    2 c. half and half
    1/4 tsp. hot sauce
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    paprika
    fresh parsley sprigs
Preparation
    Saute bacon; drain off drippings.
    Set aside.
    Drain clams, reserving 1 cup juice; set clams aside.
