Ingredients

1/2 c. Wesson oil
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. milk
3 eggs
2 c. flour
Preparation

Sift flour, salt and baking powder.
Separate eggs and beat yolks until light.
Stir milk into them.
Add oil.
Stir mixture gradually into dry ingredients.
Beat well, then fold in beaten egg whites.
Bake in waffle iron.
You may use 1 cup buttermilk with 1/2 teaspoon soda.
Also pecans added to batter is delicious!
