Okra Gumbo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. okra
    1 chopped bell pepper
    2 cans whole tomatoes
    1 lb. link sausage
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 white onions
    1 green tomato
    2 lb. ground chuck
    1/2 c. Crisco oil
Preparation
    Cut okra into small slices. Chop onion, green tomato and bell pepper and fry in oil until oil returns to clear stage. Mash whole tomatoes into this mixture and cook for about 10 minutes longer. Season ground chuck with salt and pepper. Mix other chopped onion with this. Form meat into balls. Cut sausage into 1/2-inch slices. Add meat balls and sausage to a pot of boiling water. Add okra and other vegetables and let simmer 2 to 3 hours.
