Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 c. cinnamon and sugar (equal parts)
Preparation
    Cream butter; add sugar; blend in eggs.
    Sift dry ingredients. Stir into other batter.
    Roll in balls the size of walnut.
    Drop balls in cinnamon and sugar.
    Place 2-inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Makes 5 dozen cookies.
