Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 c. long grain rice
    3 c. boiling chicken stock
    1 bay leaf
    pinch of ground white pepper
Preparation
    Melt butter in heavy saucepan.
    Add rice. Add hot broth and boil, covered, 25 minutes on low heat. Remove bay leaf and press into 1 1/2-quart ring mold.
    Keep warm and unmold to serve.
