Ingredients

1 large can beets (whole or sliced)
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. mild vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation

Stir and cook until clear, all ingredients, except beets. Then add the beets, 2 tablespoons of butter and 1 or 2 tablespoons of orange marmalade.
Chill before serving.
