Elephant Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium sized elephant, cut up in bite size pieces
1/2 bushel each potatoes, diced; onions, diced and carrots, diced
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Place all ingredients in large kettle and season to taste. Cook over slow heat for 2 weeks.
One medium size elephant will serve 762 people, but if extra guests should arrive, one rabbit may be added to \"stretch\" the stew.
