Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. unbleached flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. vanilla
grated zest of 1 lemon
1/4 c. heavy cream or sour cream
6 c. sliced, peeled apples (4 or 5 medium apples) or a combination of apples and fresh pineapple chunks
2 Tbsp. apricot jam
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Butter a 9-inch spring-form pan.
In a bowl, beat eggs until foamy.
Add sugar and beat until smooth. Mix the flour in with the baking powder and beat until well blended.
Add lemon zest and heavy or sour cream and beat until smooth.
Add apples and mix gently with a spoon to coat well.
