Missouri Kraut - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (2 1/2 oz.) can kraut
1 (2 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes
5 strips bacon
1 c. brown sugar
1 medium onion, sliced
Preparation

Dice and fry bacon.
Add onion and saute.
Add kraut, tomatoes and sugar. Simmer about 1 hour. If lesser kraut flavor is desired cook faster and for a longer period of time.
