Hearty Cabbage And Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. olive oil
    4 oz. Prosciutto, cut into thin julienne strips approximately 1 inch long
    3 garlic cloves, minced
    1 small chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. crushed hot pepper
    1 1/2 lb. shredded savoy cabbage
    2 Tbsp. tomato paste
    1 c. water
    2 c. cooked or canned cannellini beans or Great Northern white beans, rinsed and drained
    1/4 c. plus 1 Tbsp. finely chopped parsley
    salt (optional)
Preparation
    In a large skillet, heat oil.
    Add Prosciutto, garlic and onion.
    Cook over moderately high heat until onion is softened and translucent (about 3 to 5 minutes).
    Add hot pepper and stir for 30 seconds.
    Add cabbage and mix well.
