Chocolate Covered Cherries - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. dark chocolate
2 to 3 Tbsp. melted paraffin
1 (16 oz.) pkg. confectioners sugar
2 Tbsp. evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 large jar maraschino cherries with stems, drained
Preparation

Melt chocolate in double boiler.
Blend in paraffin.
Mix confectioners sugar, milk and vanilla in bowl.
Shape by spoonfuls into balls around cherries.
Dip into chocolate to coat.
Place into airtight container.
Yields 5 dozen.
