Stuffed Cabbage Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 medium size cabbage leaves
boiling water
3 c. chopped onion
4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. cooked rice
6 Tbsp. grated Romano or Parmesan cheese
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. finely ground pepper
1 1/2 c. tomato juice
Preparation

Immerse cabbage leaves in boiling water for about 3 minutes; set aside to drain.
Saute chopped cabbage and minced onion in butter until tender.
Add rice, cheese, salt and pepper.
Divide mixture among cabbage leaves.
Fold in sides and roll to enclose filling; fasten with toothpicks.
Place rolls in a single layer in a shallow saucepan.
Add tomato juice; simmer for 20 minutes.
