Cottage Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. milk
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. melted shortening
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together well and bake in a 9 x 13-inch greased pan in a hot oven (375\u00b0) for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Serve warm with either a chocolate or lemon sauce.
