Buttercream Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    4 c. confectioners sugar
    2 Tbsp. milk
Preparation
    In medium bowl with electric mixer at medium speed, cream margarine and shortening.
    Add vanilla, mixing well.
    Gradually add sugar, one cup at a time.
    Beat about 5 minutes or until icing appears dry.
    Add milk and beat until light and fluffy.
    Use immediately or cover with damp cloth.
    Store in refrigerator until ready to use.
