Homemade Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef, cubed
    1 bag frozen vegetables
    1 onion, chopped
    1 large can tomatoes with juice
    4 potatoes, diced
    1 c. catsup
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Cook meat until tender.
    Add all other ingredients, including water if needed.
    Cook in a heavy pot for about 2 hours.
