Summer Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 medium squash, sliced
    1 medium onion, sliced
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3/4 c. sour cream
    1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. paprika
    2 egg yolks, beaten
    3 Tbsp. chopped chives
    1/2 c. crumbled bacon
    bread crumbs
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter, add squash.
    Simmer until tender. Drain and add sour cream, cheese and salt, stirring over low heat until cheese melts.
    Remove from heat.
    Add beaten egg yolks, chives and bacon.
    Pour into greased casserole dish.
    Cover with bread crumbs.
    Brown at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
