Chunky Potato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
4 c. milk
2 c. peeled, chopped baking potatoes
1/2 c. minced onion
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground pepper
Preparation

Melt butter in heavy saucepan over low heat; add flour, stirring until smooth.
Cook, stirring constantly, 1 minute. Gradually stir in milk.
Stir in potatoes and next 3 ingredients. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until mixture is thickened and potatoes are done.
Yields 5 cups.
