Coffeecake(Fellowship Hour) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. margarine
1 3/4 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
3 c. flour (may use 1 c. whole wheat flour)
1 (21 oz.) blueberry or cherry pie filling

Preparation

Cream together in order given, except pie filling.
Spread into 15 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch cake pan sprayed with cooking spray, keeping 1 cup batter out.
Dab pie filling on top and remaining batter on top of filling.
Do not mix.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
Drizzle thin mixture of 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar, 3 to 4 tablespoons milk and 1/4 teaspoon almond extract on top.
