German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. red potatoes
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. bacon, cut in pieces
    1 Tbsp. flour
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 1/4 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    3 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    2/3 c. vinegar
    1/3 c. water
Preparation
    Boil potatoes in jackets; cool and slice very thin.
    Add salt, pepper, parsley and celery seed.
    Fry cut bacon until done, but not brown.
    Saute onion.
    Add flour and sugar; blend.
    Add vinegar and water; stir until thickened.
    Pour over potatoes, mixing well. Serve well.
