Kosher Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 qt. water
    1 qt. white vinegar
    1 c. canning salt
    1 clove garlic
    1 head dill
    pickling size cucumbers, scrubbed
Preparation
    In each quart jar place 1 clove garlic and 1 head dill. Pour hot solution of water, vinegar and salt into jars packed with uncut cucumbers, garlic and dill.
    Seal with heated lids and rings.
    Must set 6 weeks before using.
