Zucchini Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. zucchini squash
    1/2 lb. bulk sausage
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. fine cracker crumbs
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/4 tsp. ground thyme
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Wash squash; trim ends and cut into thick slices.
    Cook in small amount of boiling water (salted) for 10 minutes.
    Drain and chop squash coarsely.
    Put sausage and onion in skillet.
    Cook until sausage is light brown.
    Drain off fat (grease the casserole with a little of the fat).
    Combine squash, sausage, crumbs, eggs, thyme, salt and half of cheese.
    Put in baking dish.
    Sprinkle rest of cheese on top.
    Bake 30 to 40 minutes.
