German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large potatoes
    1/4 lb. bacon
    1/3 c. fat
    1 c. chopped onions
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. water
    1/3 c. vinegar-wine
Preparation
    Fry bacon until crisp.
    Remove bacon, add onions to fat and brown slightly.
    Mix dry ingredients together and add to bacon fat, water and vinegar; boil for at least 1 minute or until thick.
