Italian Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. hamburger
4 (16 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes (with celery, green pepper, onion, etc.)
4 (5 oz.) cans tomato paste
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
1/3 c. diced (chopped) onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 Tbsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
2 Tbsp. parsley
3 small bay leaves
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. paprika
pinch of curry
3 shakes mace
Preparation

In 5-quart pot, fry hamburger, onion, salt and pepper just until there is no pink.
Drain.
Add remaining ingredients. Simmer at least 2 hours, stirring as necessary.
Add any additional spices to taste while simmering.
Makes 4 quarts of sauce.
