Party Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. gelatin
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    3/4 c. evaporated milk
    1 c. yellow cheese, grated
    1 c. pineapple cubes
    1 c. almonds, slivered
    1 c. fruit cocktail, drained
    1 can Queen Anne cherries
Preparation
    Soften gelatin in lemon juice.
    Add sugar, salt and boiling water.
    Stir until gelatin is dissolved.
    Let cool.
    Whip milk until stiff.
    Fold or beat in mayonnaise; add gelatin mixture. Stir in remaining ingredients.
