Ginger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    5 Tbsp. molasses
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 3/4 c. flour
Preparation
    Beat butter and sugar together.
    Mix in remaining ingredients. Roll into balls the size of a marble.
    Place on buttered cookie sheet about 3 inches apart.
    Take flat glass and butter bottom. Dip into sugar and press on cookie.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    They brown easily.
