Boston Lettuce And Mandarin Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 heads Boston lettuce
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. red wine vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1/4 c. salad oil
2 tsp. chili sauce
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
dash of Tabasco sauce
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 can mandarin oranges
2 avocados, peeled and sliced
3/4 c. chopped walnuts
salt and pepper
Preparation

Wash lettuce and tear into bite size pieces.
Refrigerate. Make dressing by mixing the next 9 ingredients in a pint glass jar. Chill several hours, then shake well.
Before serving, mix lettuce and dressing, then toss in oranges, avocado and walnuts.
Season to taste.
Makes 4 servings.
