Corn Tofu Slices - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. tofu
    3/4 c. cornmeal
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/2 tsp. marjoram
    1/2 tsp. summer savory
    oil (for frying)
Preparation
    Heat oil in frying pan.
    Combine cornmeal, garlic and herbs. Cut tofu in 1/4-inch thick slices.
    Place slices, one at a time, in cornmeal mixture and coat evenly.
    Place in frying pan and brown both sides.
    Use in sandwiches with pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, mustard, etc.
