Quick Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. elbow macaroni
    4 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
    about 1/2 c. milk
    salt and pepper
    bread crumbs
Preparation
    Cook macaroni in boiling, salted water.
    In a 1-quart casserole, layer half the macaroni add a little salt and pepper and milk and top with half the cheese.
    Cover with rest of macaroni, add enough milk to almost cover it and top with rest of grated cheese.
    Sprinkle with bread crumbs (from 1 slice dry bread) and dot with butter or margarine.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 30 minutes.
    Serves 4 to 6.
