Apple Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. all-purpose flour (add 1/4 c. if using cake flour)
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1-1/2 c. corn oil
    2 c. sugar
    3 large eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1-1/2 c. chopped pecans
    2-1/2 c. finely chopped apples
Preparation
    Prepare apples and cover with water with two Tbsp. of lemon juice and set aside.
    Sift flour, soda and salt and set aside. Use a large bowl and beat oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla at medium speed until well blended.
    Gradually add flour mixture and beat until smooth.
    Fold in drained apples and pecans.
    Prepare a greased and floured tube pan and bake in 325\u00b0 oven for 1-1/2 hours.
