Janie'S Hummingbird Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. soda
3 eggs, beaten
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. salad oil
8 oz. crushed pineapple, undrained
1 c. chopped pecans
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. chopped ripe bananas
Preparation

Combine
dry
ingredients
in
large bowl.
Add eggs and oil, stirring.
Do
not
beat.
Stir
in
vanilla,
pineapple, bananas and pecans.
Spoon batter into floured and greased tube pan (for uniced
cake)
and bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 to 60 minutes. Cool in
pan for 10 minutes.
Cool completely on racks or spoon batter into
3 (9-inch)
well
greased
and floured cake pans. Bake at
350\u00b0
for 25
to
30 minutes; remove from pans.
Cool completely and frost with Cream Cheese Frosting.
