Softasilk Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
3 c. Softasilk cake flour
5 eggs
1/2 lb. butter
1/3 c. Crisco
1 small can evaporated milk
2 tsp. lemon or vanilla extract
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Beat eggs first.
Beat butter and Crisco.
Add sugar.
Add eggs.
Add milk and flour, one cup at a time.
Bake at 325\u00b0.
