Stir-Fried Ginger Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dried or fresh mushrooms
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2 tsp. sesame oil
    1 Tbsp. minced fresh garlic
    1 1/2 tsp. sugar
    salt
    1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
    1 3/4 tsp. cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1 lb. beef sirloin, cut bite-size (cut across the grain)
    1 1/2-inch piece ginger, peeled and cut in matchstick size
    1 lb. broccoli, cut into 1-inch florets
    1 large red bell pepper, cut into 2 x 1/4-inch strips
Preparation
    In a medium bowl, mix 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 teaspoon sesame oil, crushed garlic, sugar and crushed red pepper.
    Stir in beef and marinate, covered, for 20 minutes at room temperature.
