Quick Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Minute rice
    1 c. water
    1 (3 3/4 oz.) pkg. instant pudding
    3 Tbsp. raisins (optional)
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. cold milk
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Combine rice, water and raisins in saucepan. Add salt. Bring to a boil. Cover; remove from heat. Let stand until cool. Pour milk into bowl; add pudding mix and nutmeg. Mix according to directions on package. Stir in cooled rice mixture. Spoon into serving dishes. Chill at least 15 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
