Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. syrup (light or dark)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vinegar (light or dark)
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Make 5 quarts popcorn.
    Cook syrup until it threads.
    Pour hot over popcorn.
    Form into balls.
