Chocolate Roll - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. water
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Hershey's syrup
    4 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 c. Crisco shortening
    1 c. milk
    4 Tbsp. cocoa
    3 c. sugar
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Mix well first 3 ingredients and pour this into a deep pan. Mix well the next 3 ingredients and roll out into a large, flat circle.
    Next, mix the cocoa and 3 cups sugar together.
    Place half of it on the dough.
    Roll the dough up and cut into 1-inch pieces.
    Place the pieces in the pan on the syrup base.
    Place a pat of butter on each piece.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
