Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. yellow meal
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 c. sweet milk
    1/2 tsp. soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 (No. 303) can cream-style corn
    1/4 c. bacon drippings
Preparation
    Mix all dry ingredients.
    Add the milk and set aside.
    Saute 1/2 pound ground meat until brown.
    The next 3 ingredients are prepared ahead to be ready to be used:
    1 large onion, finely chopped, 1/2 pound cheese and 4 jalapeno peppers, chopped fine (fresh or canned).
