Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. crushed pretzels
    3/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    2 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Mix pretzels, melted butter, and 3 tablespoons of sugar in bowl.
    Press evenly into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch lightly greased pan (Pam is okay).
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
    Cool completely. With electric mixer, beat cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until creamy.
    Beat in Cool Whip.
    Spread mixture over cooled pretzel crust.
    Pour boiling water into bowl and stir in Jell-O until well dissolved.
    Add strawberries to Jell-O and cool until syrupy. Pour over cheese mixture and chill for 3 to 4 hours before cutting into squares.
