Chocolate Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. cocoa
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 egg yolks
    2 2/3 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Mix sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt.
    Add egg yolks.
    Add about 1/3 cup milk.
    Mix well.
    Add the rest of milk and vanilla. Cook over medium heat until thick.
    Add butter.
    Pour into cooked pie shell.
    Top with Cool Whip.
    Makes one 9-inch pie.
