Strawberry Nut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small pkg. strawberry jello
    1 c. boiling water
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
    3 medium bananas, mashed
    1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
    1 pt. sour cream
    2 1/2 c. crushed pineapple, drained
Preparation
    Combine jello with boiling water; dissolve.
    Fold in all at once the strawberries with juice, drained pineapple, bananas and nuts.
    Turn half of the strawberry mixture into 12 x 8 x 2-inch serving dish and refrigerate until firm.
    Gently spoon on sour cream and remaining mixture.
    Serves 12.
