Date Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
2 c. chopped dates
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. water
2 eggs, beaten
2 1/3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cook first 4 ingredients for 4 to 5 minutes until thickened. Keep stirred well.
Cool, then add last 5 ingredients.
Mix well. Pour into 2 greased loaf pans.
Bake at 250\u00b0 to 275\u00b0 for 1 hour.
