Louise'S Herb Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 loaf Pepperidge Farm Melba thin bread
    1/4 lb. butter or margarine, softened
    1/2 tsp. tarragon
    1/2 tsp. chives
    1/2 tsp. chervil
    1/2 tsp. parsley
    1/2 to 3/4 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation
    Take crusts off bread.
    Mix herbs in softened butter.
    Spread mixture thinly on bread (enough mixture for 18 slices at least). Cut each slice of bread into 3 strips.
    Bake strips on cookie sheet at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until golden toasted.
    Cool and keep in airtight container.
    Delicious with a drink!
