Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    4 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
    4 heaping Tbsp. strawberry Jell-O
    pinch of salt
    1 qt. strawberries
    2 (8-inch) pie shells
Preparation
    In a double boiler, cook sugar, cornstarch, boiling water and salt until thick.
    Remove from heat; add Jell-O and cool.
    Add 1 quart strawberries.
    Pour into two 8-inch pie shells.
    Serve with Cool Whip.
