Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cooking oil
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    2 c. self-rising flour
    3 c. apples, chopped
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans
    1/2 c. raisins (optional)
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Combine oil, sugar and eggs.
    Beat well.
    Add flour and beat thoroughly.
    Add remaining ingredients and stir to blend well. Turn batter into a greased and floured pan, 11 x 7 x 2-inch or 8 x 8 x 2-inch.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
